Why do my gadgets disappear

I remember grieving over gadgets when I switched to Windows 8 but looking back, I used to size windows such that they were always visible a complete waste of screen space and the gadgets used were not even that accurate.

Here's a thought This is a genuine problem to some people, give it the respect that ALL technical problems deserve. If you can't do that, zip it and go elsewhere! Just because YOU find something worthless, doesn't mean everyone else does.
